You can't have a sit down meal here, but for a take away, you can do worse.The prices are about right for the area, and I tend to find their fried stuff nice and crunchy (sweet and sour balls, chips, etc).Service is always with a smile, and it's never a long wait. View all feedback.
What carolannday21 doesn't like about China Garden:
Newbury no longer has a Chinese sit down restaurant....we lost the Laurel several years ago and nothing has come close since. However, China Garden despite looking unpromising, really does come up trumps with its food. It appears to be run by a mother and daughter, daughter covering front of house. The food is always piping hot, very tasty, very pleasing. Delighted we have this great take away on our doorstep. View all feedback.

Great sweet and sour dishes - probably the best I had - but the roasted toast is so tiny that they should be ashamed. good value and good service. no deliveries, just take away.
Excellent value for money, friendly staff, never in the whole time of using these people I have ever complained.
Always get lovely food here, and the service is genuinely with a big smile. I tried so many places in Newbury before this takeaway was recommended to me!
