After discovering that they were closed on Wednesday and Thursday, we finally stopped by for breakfast before heading home from our week long stay at the French Lick Springs Hotel. Very casual, family atmosphere. It's a small place so expect a wait at peaktimes. But service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious as was the coffee. Very affordable prices . Generous portions. They serve breakfast all day as well... View all feedback.
What Jim Settecase doesn't like about Nila's Place:
We made an impromptu stop here one morning while in the area. It's very small inside but they were able to accommodate our party of 6 adults. No real complaints (this is a mom n pop greasy spoon diner-good, inexpensive food) but they were cash only at thetime we visited and that was a bit of an inconvenience. Not sure if that's normal and we just didn't see that online before, orif it was a fluke. Our waitress was at... View all feedback.
It was so good my husband and I came here twice! I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, hands down the best I ever had. I tried his pancakes he ordered and they were delicious too. The service was fast and friendly and the employees seemed to lovebeing at their job which was refreshing. Will definitely come back if we get the chance again!
Looked for a local place outside of the West Baden and French Lick resort complex and found this gem. Took 8 people to breakfast and only heard good things, which is highly unusual. We had sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancake, omelets and of course eggs and coffee. Great service, very clean and excellent food, has to get 5 stars. Supportthe local economy and visit this wonderful breakfast and lunch spot.
We came to big splash adventure, found this spot for breakfast and came 2 days in a row. Absolutely wonderful food, the gravy is 10/10 delicious!!! Service is wonderful and the people are so friendly! Highly recommend!!!!

Probably the best breakfast we had all week.

Food was delivered quick for half our party and delayed for the otherhalf. 3 were done eating by the time the other 3 delivered. It was busy, so its understandable. Would stop back by if in thearea again.
