What Hawkeye Rides doesn't like about Shang Hai:
This place was good but the food isn’t the same, the portions and now they charge extra for everything. I will not come back. These picture are the large size, we also ordered sesame chicken, spring rolls, 2 spicy lo mein (they didn’t add the spice), one regular lo mein and crab ragoon. Before, this would be food for a family of 5 and 2 meals. Now one meal. View all feedback. What Shannon C likes about Shang Hai:
The only option for combos was pork lo mein, but when I requested chicken instead, they happily accommodated the change at no extra charge. The dish was generously portioned and included all the sauces and utensils I requested. I highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.

read moreShang Hai Chinese on Eiland has garnered a mix of reactions from diners, reflecting recent changes at the restaurant. While many praise the flavor and quality of dishes like Egg Drop Soup, Chicken and Rice Soup, and various entrees, there are concerns over declining portion sizes and rising prices, with the menu appearing outdated. Some appreciate the accommodating staff and generous portions, while others lament a lack of freshness in certain appetizers. Despite these critiques, loyal customers deem it a worthwhile dining option in the area, noting the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, along with an impressive variety of dishes.
