The Main Cafe - Welland

I went in to order my daughter's birthday cake and I asked for two specific colours. And when I went to pick up the cake the one colour was wrong. I was told that it was a nice colour and all I was offered was to come back to have it re-iced. (Which I had no time for because the party was about to start) It felt very unapologetic. I should have been offered a discount or at least an apology that was sincere instead of being made to feel that I was annoying. Yes it looked good but that wasn't the point. I suggest that if you order from here be VERY specific of what you would like because if something ends up wrong, too bad for you.

I love this place. As a celiac, there are so few places I can eat. The allergy aware cupcakes and gluten free lunch choices make this my go-to place when I'm out. The character of the century old building is amazing; so are the staff. Great to see this wonderful cafe in downtown Welland.

Ryan has been making birthday cakes for my family every year since 2012. From a two tiered Toopy and Binoo Cake to a coffin Monster High cake, they all looked amazing and very tasty! Ryan really cares about her products and customers. I just tell her the birthday theme and she sends me photos for ideas. Loved every cake she made. Everything is delicious and beautiful! I have ordered several baked goods and cakes and have never been disappointed! They always look amazing and taste delicious. They always work with me to fill my specific orders and have wonderful Customer Service. I especially love that they are allergy aware and I can order gluten free and vegan items!

I have been coming to Ryan for years for all my baked good needs. She is always fantastic and wonderful to deal with! Also her products are 2nd to none! Keep doing what you are doing.
