I haven't had Chick-fil-A in over a year, and I was shocked by how much it has changed. The sandwich I received was much smaller than what I remembered; it was about the size of a dollar menu chicken sandwich and didn’t even come with pickles. Always a good experience. Despite the post Covid shortages, the food comes out hot, fresh, and accurate. Love being able to order from the table so I don't have to manage a little one, a food line, and a crowd.
Well me and family have always eaten at chick fil a since it has come to Waynesboro. But last Thursday night me and fiancé decided to go get some eating to eat for dinner there. Well I went inside order my food the associate working the register wasnice. I waited for my food and a young lady says my name. I grab my food check it just to make sure it was all there. Therewasn't any of the sauces in there that I asked for. Which I know sometimes it's easy yo forget things. So i asked and you couldtell it was a problem from the young lady. Then I couldn't get my food back in the bag because it was stuffed in there verytight so I asked her for another bag because it was so tight trying to get back in there. Well she goes and gets another bag andI heard her complaining to another associate about me because I said the food was stuffed in there. She was complaining loudenough that I could hear it. I felt very disrespected. I truly wasn't complaining at all though. She was very rude I had to askfor my drinks as well. Just not a good experience at all. I truly just felt like leaving the food on the counter even though Ipaid for it already. I said thank you several times and she just rolled her eyes at me what a sad day and time the world hascome to. Not many more friendly people out there.
When we left, we discovered that the fries were heavily salted. This was frustrating because the person who ordered the fries and ice cream ended up with nothing, as they couldn’t have the added salt, and the ice cream machine had closed early. We have been to various locations of this restaurant chain multiple times and have never encountered such poor service. One of our family members works at another franchise and was with us; he pointed out how lacking this location was in customer service.
I can't believe I'm giving this Chick-fil-A location a two-star rating, but here it goes. I placed a mobile order tonight, requesting extra pickles, a large fries, and a cookies and cream milkshake. The “extra pickles” I received were essentially just a few pieces, the quantity of fries in the large was the same as what I typically get in a medium, and the milkshake was vanilla instead of cookies and cream. This isn't the first time I've encountered issues at this location, so I felt it was time to leave a review.
The dining experience was incredible. I never encountered any issues with my orders, but the wait time was lengthy—over 20 minutes! Keep in mind, they may have been short-staffed, as I understand how that can happen.
