Super friendly waitresses on top of helping you keep your cup full, and your used plates gone. Not all dishes are super amazing (as with all buffets) but I highly recommend trying the 'awesome pot roast ' and the fried chicken. A plate of each of those is worth the cost alone. I wish I would have tried a steak but we were on a long road trip and I 'm kinda shy and didn 't want to bother the cooks behind the counter.... View all feedback.
Quiet friendly place with a wide assortment of dishes to try. First taste of fried white fish was not warm but did get in on the second batch. Fried white fish, hush puppies, mixed greens, pasta with sauce. Then had fresh spinach with salad fixings, baked chicken and dessert chocolate cake with white frosting and cherries poured over and two small peanut butter cookies. Waitstaff was pleasant, however, we'll stick with the one on Layton where the food turns over more quickly.
Golden Corral is a fantastic family style restaurant masquerading as a buffet. The servers are friendly and the service is great. But what you really want to hear about is the food, right? The food is actually pretty tasty for a buffet. The variety is exceptional for the price no matter how much you eat, they just keep bringing more fresh food out. You’d think this would make for a messy environment, but you’d be wrong. The place is kept clean! No macaroni on these floors. Gather your family and go check them out.
We had not been to a Golden Coral for a very long time, so we decided to give it a try. They have new shrimp dishes and grilled steak, which were both very good. I always love their salad bar, everything is fresh and crisp, and the dressings are good. We passed on desserts, except for a couple of chocolate chip cookies, and they were good too. They had gloves in many areas so you didn't have to touch the utensils. That was a great idea! We will go again sometime when we are really hungry!

Highly recommend if you like nostalgic American buffet experience!!
