The food here is great! If you want to fill food, I don't know where I didn't find this place earlier. Everything was tasteful and although it was a wait for food, I had nothing to do with it. If you are picky or in a hurry or simply have no patience, don't come here. But if you are ready to wait for fresh food on site, then come here, you will not regret it. My husband and I decided to try this place out after a long day of work today. Oh man I wished we just went home and made our own tacos and food we would have been done with our food before that hour that it took us to get our food! Oh man What a disappointment! The guy was nice at the front, he had great customer service, even after our long hour wait he apologized and said thanks for our patience. Now the thing we don’t understand is all we ordered was one taco dinner with two tacos de asada (steak), one of chorizo and three extra tacos de carne asada (steak) with an Agua de Jamaica. We get home finally after such a long wait and to our surprise the rice is bad and the beans as well!! Why after such a long wait for an hour did we get rice that is bad and beans that are bad as well! I’m talking about these need to be tossed out!! They have a foul smell. The container that they placed the Agua de Jamaica in, really and you give me a straw that we can’t even put in it because the container is sealed, and No place to put a straw in. The only thing my husband and I Both agree on would be the tacos at least were good and and full of meat, that’s why I am giving it a 3 stars. We will not be going back here after that bad of an experience.

What a pleasant surprise dinner with my husband when we went into the Mariachi band, began to play and they were wonderful. Good fresh mango margaritas and authentic fresh food! Mariachi band every Sunday from 2-4. We're coming back!

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Waukegan... actually, in Lake County! Great food and very friendly service. The machete is of special touch, but the taco on homemade tortillas and Birria are also OUTSTANDING! I wish I had found her years ago, but I'm coming back for years.

So delicious. Best in the area. Everything comes hot and fresh. I love they make hibiscus juice
