I love sushi gardens, I always get the same sushi roles. The Grinch, Philly and Golden Philly. The last time I was there, I felt like we had to ask for things, the waitress only checked us when we were almost done. Also, for some reason they did not add washabi and ginger, so we had to ask. I wonder if there's a Wasabi button, it wasn't sharp AT ALL, it didn't taste like Wasabi... hhm. This is my only complaint. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Garden:
Went tonight (Tuesday night) it was slow but the service was fast. Very clean and cutely decorated. When it comes to the food though, it's why I'm giving this place 3 stars, Miso soup had a bit too much salt in it, my son's beef teriyaki came out hot (which is good) but my chicken came warm, almost cold. I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was charged extra for sauce that was not included. They have also forgotten items from my order in the past, so I suggest checking your order before leaving. The food is decent, but I prefer Akira in Aptos.
The food quality at this restaurant is questionable as we never had the opportunity to try it. The first two items we ordered were not available, so we decided to leave. If a dish is listed on the menu and not marked as seasonal, it should be available. Regardless of how good the food may or may not be, we have no intention of returning to this establishment.
