Out-of-towners who couldn?t get to New Haven on our trip but we were stoked to see a location near to our Airbnb. The pizza is very good. Love the crispy coal fired crust and deep flavored sauce. The pepperoni was a hit and mozzarella tomato was great. The staff were lovely and fast. Definitely worth getting. View all feedback.
What Marina Orlova doesn't like about Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana:
Major quality control issues here: 3 pizzas and 3 severely different dough thicknesses. 1 was so thick it was a puffy flatbread, 1 was so thin it was hard and like eating cardboard, 1 was just right. The clam pizza had a really nice garlicky smell but the clam flavor was hard to detect. The ricotta pizza was decent but nothing too special. Likely never coming again at least not for take out. The medium pizza is sized... View all feedback.
This is my favorite pizza place so far. They have cool flavors. The staff is friendly and nice. The place is usually not that crowded that you will be able to find a table if you decide to come in. My favorite pizza is meatballs and ricotta. I highly recommend you to try it if you like ricotta as I do :
The area was very welcoming and roomy. Very clean and a lot of room when seated. The staff is very professional and friendly. They do not rush you and they accommodate you greatly. My salad was good, very good actually. Between 1 and 5, I would say 5. My pizza was great, wasn't too heavy or too light, just right. Nothing wrong with some good pizza. The taste was rich, the crust was just right. The meat was great ????also (pause). The pricing was fair, I will attend
It?s annoying because the frank Pepe?s in chestnut hill is one of my favorite pizzas in boston. The one is Watertown, which is closest to where I live, consistently delivers burnt pizza. Please, head over to the chestnut hill branch and get some training

I?ve been going to Pepe?s in New Haven since I was a little kid and it?s still the best pizza I?ve ever had. I?m always happy when I can introduce someone new to Pepe?s. I recommend the Margarita and clam pizza but always get extra so you can have it for breakfast the next day.
