This is our go to for fish n chip suppers, which we have always taken to go. Hot, generous portion of chips. The halibut is worth the extra cost. I've been driving by the restaurant for years so decided to drop in to try fish and chips takeout. The restaurant was advertising a fish and chips special on a sign outside the restaurant that sounded like a good deal. I was very disappointed with how greasy the fish was. The rest of the meal was not memorable.It's a shame as there aren't that many fish and chip restaurants around anymore. View all feedback.
I have been eating here since I was a kid at this point (20 years? 15? Not sure) Favorite fish and chips place by far! They 're so friendly and sweet on the phone, I love the sing-song Granny booooooooons they do when I call and the food is amazing! I typically get a two piece haddock and chips with coleslaw, their portion sizes are fantastic, their onion rings are heavenly, and it 's a lovely treat each time I buy!

If you want fish and chips in the Waterloo area, and you go anywhere that isn’t Granny Bonn’s then I hate to break it to you… but you are straight up missing out.
It’s a good fish and chip place. Cod, haddock and fries always done well at reasonable prices.
