Nice NY Style Halal Food Truck. It is located in a parking lot of the petrol station and has many parking spaces available for a quick food handle. It also has a table section to eat outside. The food tastes good and the guy works has a good customer service. The portions could be a little bigger, but it is worth complaining. In addition, it is one of the only Halal spots in Waterbury so that $10/plate is fairly fair... View all feedback.

Only cash and I only have cards so I couldn't buy, I went along with bananas Brazilian.
My friend and I recently discovered this food truck and we love it! We were 4 times a month Lol. The food is so seasoned and fresh; the portions are very good!! An order of chicken and rice is $10 and you will definitely get your money worth! Also, ask for extra white sauce because it is amazing!!
Best food in Waterbury. Fast and friendly service. Food is delicious every time. I always get the falafel over rice or falafel sandwich with frits.
I always liked Haji's Halal Cart. Over time, they have increased their prices, but their amount of food went down significantly. For example, they increased their rice plates to $9.99, but the amount of chicken and rice decreased to one half. I just want to give everyone out of the business that reads this, please do not give off the amount while increasing the cost, that is not a good way to do business as its deceitful people. I will not come back, there are other Halal foods/cats that are sincere and have good business intentions. Answer to the entrepreneur: It is not the lack of QUALITY it is the lack of QUANTITY [partial size] that has been significantly reduced, although prices have been increased. However, you previously had lower prices with excellent quality and quantity of food. I understand prices are rising, but I can't tolerate less food for more costs.
Haji?s is the best New York style halal food in the area. Much better than those Halal guy?s franchise stores in my opinion. I went to college in Queens and tried several different food carts and Haji?s food stands up with the best of them. Now that I?m back in CT, I drive 30 min to Haji?s without even blinking an eye. I always have the chicken and lamb over rice. Only complaint would be portion sizes, but with inflation, especially with meats, I can?t blame the guy. You can always ask him to increase portion size for a few extra dollars.
