Was Matt Crane at Un Je Ne Sais Quoi a mag?
This is definitely a special place. Walked in for a cup of coffee because the shop called to me and I walked out with the best pastry I have had outside of France. Might be one of the best pasties ever now that I think of it. Oh, and the guy behind the counter gamely conversed with me in French for as far as my mastery would go (almost through the ordering process). Wonderful place, and done right. A new favorite. What christine oh dislikes about Un Je Ne Sais Quoi:
Picked up an iced vanilla latte and a lemon meringue tart. The coffee was decent, but personally had way too much syrup that it masked any taste of coffee. It pretty much tasted like vanilla syrup milk. As a lemon tart lover, I was not overly impressed with this one, although presentation-wise, looked beautiful. View all feedback.

It is a place that from the moment you walk in life, the air you breathe, and emotions are all so much better. I loved walking into this place and seeing not an over abundance of food, but just enough to be sensible about ordering. The staff spoke French and English very well and I felt as if I was back in Europe all over again. Oh, it almost escaped me. The pastries were to die for. Fresh well made and of quality products. I will return again and again!!!!!
I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this place. Amazing chai tea latte and coffee and the best ambience around, whether you’re looking to work or relax or chat. Merci beaucoup!!

This is the most wonderful place I've been to in a very long time. Not only was the patisserie itself beautiful, the desserts were magnifiqué! I didn't want to stop eating them--I ordered a napoleon to take home as well! (Oh! The chai latte was perfect! The people working there were very friendly and patient as I waxed and waned about which delicious dessert to order. I would go back here in a heartbeat, and if you're in the area--even if it's a bit out of the way--make sure you don't pass this place up! Mercí!

Favorites: plain croissant, pistachio croissantA cozy french style bakery/ pastry. Everything is delicious there. It has a line but the service is quick.
Insta: dmv_reelsGood place for pastries! It's my second time there and this time I got pistachios croissant and decaf latte. I like their plain croissant better. Crispy!
French. Very French pastries. Almost nothing savory. But good. There is very little seating but you can make it work. The almond croissant was crunch and flaky. They bring you water. The staff are nice.
