While some reviewers were disappointed with aspects such as poor service, limited food choices for those with allergies, or noise levels, others raved about the quality of the food and the accommodating nature of the staff. The restaurant seems to excel in providing a unique dining experience, especially when it comes to special occasions or happy hour offerings. Despite some hiccups like long waits, the consensus appears to be that Pearl Dive offers a memorable meal for those willing to navigate potential pitfalls. Whether it's the excellent food, the half-priced oysters, or the friendly service, this establishment seems to have something to offer for a variety of diners.
One of the highlights of Pearl Dive Oyster Palace is their fantastic Happy Hour. Their Happy Hour menu features a great selection of food and drink specials that are both delicious and affordable. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail, a glass of wine, or a cold beer, their drink menu has plenty of options to choose from. Now, let's talk about the mussels dish. Pearl Dive Oyster Palace's mussels are some of the best in the city, and they are definitely worth trying. These plump and juicy mollusks are cooked to perfection and served in a mouth-watering broth. The dish is also accompanied by a side of bread, which pair perfectly with the mussels. Overall, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace is a fantastic restaurant that offers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or a delicious Happy Hour, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
I very much enjoyed both the food and staff at this place. The customer service was wonderful, I could tell that people genuinely enjoyed interacting with their guests. I can see why this place is gaining such a loyal following. The food was good and I particularly enjoyed the Cajun shrimp and grits.
This happy hour is so good! Even if you can't make it to the bar (gets very crowded very quickly , they do power hour in their dining room which tends to be a little quieter. Kicking myself for not saving the photos I took of the food but trust it was delicious and looked even better. Recommendations: HH menu mussels, raw oysters (half off during HH! and the potato chips. Pros: service was amazing! Olivia was our waitress and she was so lovely. Cons: if you are paying with card, there's a 4% fee. Not that much in the grand scheme of things but kind of annoying as I'd much rather that money go to tip or something.
Entering the restaurant on a Saturday night makes you wonder, whether you are in the right spot, as outside there is a noisy party-crowd … but inside, the restaurant is as you would expect a down-to-earth Seafood place: savvy by friendly staff, good variety of food and cooks, that know how to handle!
Love this place as a happy hour and late night venue but I recently tried sitting down for a meal and it was fantastic
