Contribute FeedbackDiners at Ocean Prime had mixed experiences. Some raved about the fantastic food, attentive service, and overall great dining experience. However, others were disappointed by undercooked steaks, rude staff, and long wait times. While some praised the top-notch customer service and delicious food, others were put off by the high prices and questionable clientele. Overall, it seems that Ocean Prime can be hit or miss depending on the visit.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are great, but the prices are too high. There are more affordable choices available.
We were in DC the weekend of our anniversary and decided to celebrate with a dinner at Ocean Prime. We had an outstanding experience food was excellent and perfectly prepared, our server was warm and professional and the cocktails were expertly made. Really, a great experience will recommend to others and will be back on future trips!
Everything was good until I received my food. I ordered the lamb chops I could only eat 2 out of the 4 I was give because the lamb chops had so much fat on them. I made my concern known to the waiter and she informed me the chef would make me 2 more. We received the bill and our to go bag to get home with no lamb chops for $61 I was livid. I won’t be back because of this issue.

Chris and Jessica provided excellent recommendations and amazing service. My wife and I enjoyed our dining experience. Ocean Prime is our favorite restaurant.
