Food was very good, but fairly expensive for what you get but the Wharf as a whole is like that. Service was excellent and super friendly. Neat space, seating upstairs too View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kirwan's On The Wharf:
Table and ambience was fine. Our waitress forgot one of our orders and instead of coming by to let us know she just never came back to our table. In fact we had to ask another server to bring our check. We only saw our waitress once to take drink and food orders. View all feedback.
My fellow diners had the fish and chips and said it was very good. I tried a few of the fries and they were really good. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. When it came out it was apparent that the chicken was way overdone. The server was nice about it and said he would get me another order of chicken. The chicken he brought out was just as dry and overdone. It’s as if the chicken was precooked and then heated. It was awful. When he asked about it I told hi. It wasn’t any better. He apologized.
Fun vibe, great social distancing and really great staff!
Kirwan's is our go-to place for any celebration, happy hour, get together. We've been going since it first opened and we love it! Best fish and chips and chicken pot pie you'll ever eat! Great food, great drinks, great staff, great location!
I come here for business meetings all the time! Keep coming back.
A great atmosphere with authentic decor imported from Ireland. A great menu with varied selections. I had the shepherds pie. The lamb was shredded not ground and a lollipop chop was adorned on top. Great touch and great flavor. My friends had the chicken pot pie, and they raved over that. Irish coffee at the end topped off a great evening, and the Irish coffee was topped off with very rich cream This is my second visit to Kirwan’s and next time I am in DC I will probably go there again.
