Contribute FeedbackIn the vibrant culinary scene of DC, one Thai restaurant offers a mix of experiences. While some patrons praise the deliciousness of dishes like Pad Thai and drunken noodles, others highlight inconsistencies in both flavor and service. Complaints about oily meals, delays in service, and lack of attention from staff contrast with positive remarks about attentive servers and enjoyable flavors. Decorated with beautiful murals, the restaurant’s inviting atmosphere appeals to many, making it a potential choice for those seeking Thai cuisine near the Convention Center. Overall, while food quality varies, some diners leave satisfied enough to return.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. I visited this restaurant two nights in a row while in DC. I highly recommend it.
Really appreciated the ambiance in here. Came a little after lunchtime, food was great (3 of us ordered green curry, Pad Thai, and mango sticky rice). They didn't have any non dairy milk alternative, so they made the Thai tea with lime juice instead. Amazingly fresh and flavorful! Our server was very kind and even brought us a sample for our next meal!
Haad Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Washington DC. They offer delicious options for lunch, dinner, or takeout. They even have a cozy bar for solo diners. The food is always top-notch and truly tastes authentic. I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai with shrimp. The wait staff are always welcoming and helpful, working together seamlessly. The prices on the menu are fair for the area.
This charming family-owned restaurant serves mouthwatering dishes. I decided to try something new from the chef's special menu and it brought me back to the authentic flavors of Bangkok. The staff was very attentive, constantly refilling my jasmine tea without me having to ask. I also indulged in the fried banana and coconut ice cream, which was topped with roasted coconut bits that added a delightful crunch. The atmosphere is simple yet inviting and cozy.
One of the few places available when there is a big show or conference at the Convention Center! If you have something going on at the Convention Center in DC, and you can't find any food at the center or nearby, come walk here and find no lines and no people. The walk is worth it because you won't be told about an hour wait. The food itself is great. The service is quick. The prices are reasonable. Definitely an option if you are hungry and want Thai!
