Contribute FeedbackGeorgia Brown has seen a decline in quality, with disappointing Caesar salads and issues with service. However, some visitors have raved about the pleasant atmosphere, live music, and excellent service at this restaurant. While the food may have been subpar for some, others have had a fantastic experience with the delicious brunch menu and lovely ambiance. Overall, opinions on Georgia Brown are divided, with some patrons enjoying their meals and others feeling let down by the food and service.
We could barely hear ourselves talk the music was so loud.
The dinner experience and service on September 12, 2023 was better than the brunch experience a few weeks prior. I find their dinner environment better than brunch.
The restaurant offers fantastic service, a pleasant atmosphere, and a peaceful ambiance during a midweek lunch hour. However, the food was average with a lackluster iceberg lettuce salad and overcooked, excessively breaded chicken livers. The location is convenient and well-located.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was impressed and eager to sample the menu. However, I was disappointed to find that the menu did not match the atmosphere, leading to a confusing dining experience. The food was initially promising but quickly declined in quality by the second course. It lacked freshness and seasoning. Despite this, I intend to return to sample the full menu during the week.
I wouldn't recommend visiting this restaurant, even if you are a tourist. The food is inedible and way too expensive. The only good thing about this place is the drinks. Also, there is limited street parking, so you may have to pay for valet parking. I suggest trying Milk Honey at the Wharf instead, as it is a much better dining option.
