Feedback
Cafe du Parc offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers raving about the food, service, and ambiance, while others were disappointed with the service and unexpected changes to their reservations. The restaurant is praised for its attentive staff, excellent food, and complimentary treats for special occasions. However, some reviewers found the pricing to be high for the overall experience. The location across from the park provides a lovely setting for a meal, with delicious food and professional service. Despite some inconsistencies, Cafe du Parc offers a dining experience worth exploring for those seeking French cuisine in a charming setting.
We ate outside in beautiful weather. Yhe food was good though not exciting. Rather, pleasant. They accommodated my food allergies.
The service at this restaurant was slow, as it took 20 minutes before our server came to our table. The maitre d' was inattentive to the needs of the diners, and many tables around us were unhappy with the lack of service and attention. The servers seemed overwhelmed and in need of help, but no one assisted them. Our server was very sweet, but her station was too large for her, and she appeared to be new and in need of assistance.
Very overpriced. Buratta was tasteless. Bouef bourguignon overly salty. The halibut was the redeeming factor. Creme brulee sugar completely burnt. Felt more like a diner than an elegant French restaurant. Not that a diner is bad but we were paying upscale french prices for diner food.
The food was quite nice, but the service let them down. I ordered eggs, Benedict, an orange juice, and a cappuccino for breakfast. The eggs Benedict came quite quickly, and was rather nice. However, when they put the coffee on the table I didn’tnotice there was no spoon. I like my coffee, sweet, but I had nothing to stir it in with. I had to get up from the table andfind a waiter to get me a spoon because nobody came back to ask me if everything was well. I also had to ask for the orangejuice that I ordered because they didn’t bring it. How they messed up on the two most simple parts of my three part breakfastorder I will never know. Not even McDonald’s make that mistake.
The cutest little French pastry shop! Delicious coffee! Right next to the White House and across from the WWI memorial. After seeing all the memorials and important buildings this is the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy elegant desserts! The peachpastry I ate was amazing and the coffee superb!
