What Nouf A doesn't like about Little China Cafe:
I went on Mother's Day. I I used a coupon for a milk tea ice cream, but I was disappointed to receive something different from what was advertised. This experience felt like a dishonest bait-and-switch tactic, as I was offered a specific item and received something else. I cannot recommend this place, and I certainly won't be returning. The fact that they cheated me out of a small item has cost them a customer. View all feedback.
The atmosphere and decorations are great and the service was good but the food was lackluster. We got the tonkotsu ramen and octopus balls. HOWEVER the monster shaved ice was delicious, I would come back just for thatFood: 3/5
Me, my mom, uncle and cousin all went for lunch and had a perfect experience. The waiter was kind and funny and tended to us so well. It was our first time here, and he was very accommodating and helpful! The staff can be seen cooking in the back kitchen, seasoning their foods with lots of love and hard work.We came in around 3 on a sunday, which was the perfect time. We sat in an indoor booth and the music playing made a wonderful ambiance along with the beautifully decorated restaurant!I ordered the pork entree, which was fantastic. The pork is some of the best pork i’ve ever had, it was tender and rich and so well seasoned and went along great with the soft and fluffy white rice. My mother got the popcorn chicken bento, which she says is the best fried chicken she’s ever had. I tried a piece, it was crunchy and juicy and seasoned to perfection. The cabbage in the bento box was perfectly tender and soft with a slight crunch, and the corn and sausage were delicious. My uncle ordered a ramen with pork belly in it, and ate it in a matter of minutes. He’s been a ramen fanatic for years, and says it was one of the best bowls he had ever had! The pork was soft and thinly sliced, and the broth was so rich and flavorful. The same applies to my cousin who ordered a ramen bowl with chicken, which was just as fantastic! The monster desert was so cute and yummy, this place is just a gem. Thank you for having us! Cant wait to return!
I ordered a ribeye steak. Too much oil. My stomach feels uncomfortable afterwards.
Momo’s Cafe is a cozy little restaurant specializing in Taiwanese bento and street food. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner once and they take great pride in the authenticity of their bento and the food they serve. The place is small but quite cute. It has outdoor seating as well. The server was friendly and attentive. She took the time to explain the restaurant’s specialties and shared her personal favorites. As for the food, everything we tried was really flavorful. The menu was comprehensive and truly showcased a wide range of Taiwanese comfort food, with options like bento, iron pan entrees, and Taiwanese street snacks to name a few. Momo’s cafe also serve Taiwanese shaved ice and boba tea.I particularly enjoyed the popcorn chicken and the spicy pot. The chicken was incredibly crunchy and well marinated. Fried basil added nice flavor to the dish. The spicy pot was comforting and fulfilling, accompanied by a delightful array of fresh ingredients. The portion size was generous, making it an excellent choice for sharing as well.In all, my dining experience at Momo’s Cafe was a great success. I highly recommend trying their unique dishes. The location is a bit hidden and inconvenient. The recommended way to get to the restaurant would be by car.
I visited this restaurant this past weekend.Environment/Customer Service: The restaurant was super cute and cozy. The best way to describe it is pretty in pink. Everyone was nice and the menu was easy to navigate.Food: I ordered black pepper braised pork bento and strawberry black tea while my boyfriend got the popcorn chicken bento. We both liked our food and we were given a good amount (except for the collards it was a very tiny portion but maybe some fell out and I didn’t realize it). Also, I do wish the bento box had its own lid or wrap some of the juice from the food spilled and the box that the bento was placed was soggy and began to rip. But that wouldn’t stop me from doing take out again.Overall, it was a good experience. I recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for a nice lunch!
