This part of dc needs more vegan options- I am not in the rule here. but if I'm here in cathedrale heights this is a good choice. the menu is clearly marked for veg food that distinguish between vegan and vegetarian. there is also a gluten-free icon. for a non-veg restaurant this is in the rule as good as for menu markings! surprising, they have this lemon vegan tartlet, and there are many vegetarian choices as well as, distributed over the menu. for items that they do not have to change, there are five fixed choices, among them a entree salat, the flower cabbage steak, of roasted and tomato dishes. they also have the beyond meat burger and other entrees that seem veganisable when they ask nicely. avocado toast should be quite simply vegan, and maybe a few starters! the prices are appropriate for this part of the city. the portions are good. the ambiente is more sophisticated, but still this diner. it is good, not amazing, but will meet their appetit satiate and their diet options.
Went to silver last night with three vegan friends to celebrate the aging of one of them, and we all loved it. I have the cauliflower steak. it comes with (this from menu) red curry calf, garbanzos, roasted butternut quesh, quinoa, fire roasted pfeffer sauce, drowned wow, it was excellent. I am in the usually not a very chic/pronounced esser, and I was not sure that I would even like this one, but there was no ingredient that I would add, subtract or change the proportion. it was perfect. for dessert I got the lemon derock, which is described as vegan lemon cream, brombeeren, thymian in a crust that was perhaps made with powder sugar, and all about it was excellent crust baked/brown only the correct amount, fantastic lemon cream filling, and even the brombeer were really good blackberry flavor. I am not completely gourmet enough to appreciate the thymian garnish above, but I only ate it first, and it is not as if it had seasoned the rest of the tartlet or something. the service was also immaculate-political, timely with everything, water replenishment, without being asked, let us sit and speak for 3 hours. Thanks silver!
Went for brunch with my 8 year old niece and sister in law. I had the avocado toast with burrata amazing. My niece loved her silver dollar pancakes and my sister in law had the Mexican style omelet. Highly recommend for groups of all ages.
This upscale diner offers creative American cuisine, though it tends to be on the expensive side. Their breakfast menu is outstanding and highly recommended.
The food was excellent, and we were all satisfied with our meals. However, the service left much to be desired. Our server seldom checked on us, and one meal arrived much later than the other four without any apologies. Additionally, no one came by to see if we needed anything.

The food was exceptional! Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired; the dishes took a long time to arrive from the kitchen, and I found myself waiting too long for a drink refill. I really hope the service improves!

Great as always! We enjoyed it very much. Good food, good wine

Food was excellent. My grandchildren and I sat at the bar and the service could have been better but overall I will go back

Wonderful lacation, good vibes, nice service, very delicious food, variety of options (GF, Vegan, Vigiterian low calorie), speede service, kids friendly, friendly sttaf. It was a great experience, thanks to Joey V. his manager.

Found the service exceptional! The menu is huge and lot of options. Will return soon!Food: 5/5

Consistently good for breakfast. Great service and friendly staff. Also good for dinner the one time we've went.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian dishes. It's not like there is just one entree you can get like some places.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that's pretty good and a hit with our kids.

This dinner has a couple of locations and the food is pretty much ok. It’s like a small chain but it feels a little more like real food. Service is ok. The jukebox from the fifties is nice but doesn’t work, don’t waste your quarters.

The food is always reliable. We had Excellent service.

I recently visited Silver for the second time and I have to say the service was excellent, from my waitress Diana to the manager Raj. They were both so amazing that we're on a first name basis now. I highly recommend coming here for their happy hour.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my meal at Silver. I had a delightful brunch accompanied by a few mimosas this past Sunday. The price is quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food. It's a perfect spot for those looking to have a romantic brunch. The mimosa carafe was a great value. The staff is incredibly friendly and the managers even checked in on us to ensure we were having a good experience. Erick assisted us with a smile that was contagious. I also had a chat with Nancy to provide feedback on our experience, and both of them were lovely.

The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the food was tasty. The service was excellent and the dishes had a variety of flavors. I particularly liked the fresh carrot juice with ginger and orange. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it.

The staff go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is happy. The manager was actively walking around and checking in with customers to make sure they didn't need anything and to check in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They had a cool event with dog vendors. Pet friendly. They had pick n pack treats, Colby's doggy spa, pet photography, etc. Very nice.

Overall had a really awful experience at Silver. Friend?s steak was like a dog treat it was so overcooked, then asked for another and THAT one was well done as well. Had asked for medium rare. Huevos rancheros needed lots of salt, pepper, and hot sauce to have flavor. And the avocado mix had huge chunks in it. Shouldn?t have to pay $4 to add a mini fruit cup to a plate of French toast. Scrambled eggs tasted like rubber according to friends. Waitress was very sweet, food took

This restaurant is consistently good and we try to go there when we're in town. Dining partner is vegan and there are several options. She got a salad that was excellent with Brussels sprouts. I had the cauliflower steak which was really delicious (I'm not vegan/vegetarian). Can't wait to go back. There's always something good to choose from. They have a wonderful outside dining area. Feels like I'm on vacation when I'm there.

The server was friendly and attentive, quick to suggest appetizers. The wings &salmon salad were outstanding .Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We had a super tasty meal at Silver on Wisconsin Av. I had the lamb meatball appetizer with the cauliflower steak. My friend had the branzino. When we could not decide between new dishes, Jasmyn, our server, took the time to describe the dishes. She was so helpfu.l

The food was good and reasonably priced. However, our food did take a pretty long time to come out. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the pancakes with two eggs and bacon, and all the food was cooked well and flavorful. I would likely go back, or recommend this place to a friend.

Excellent service, decent coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and new American Farm to Table food. My daughter had a special avocado toast with berry buretta; my son had fancy fruity French toast, and I had bison-chorizo heuvos-rancheros with home made tortillas. (See photos. All was delicious. It wasn't inexpensive: our breakfast cost $110 with tip.
