my man and I got married in the george washington hotel in juni 2021. we stumbled this jewel after what seemed to be months of the event. What Albīna Saulietis doesn't like about The George Washington Hotel:
First I would like to say, the hotel staff was great. The hotel itself is in dire need of updating. The beds were so uncomfortable. We asked the front desk to remove a dirty wash cloth from shower. Front desk said it was recleaned, but wash cloth still in shower. The bathroom was so small. I could hear from across the hall someone snoring. I get that the hotel is very old but for the price of rooms, not worth the mon... View all feedback.
I do not often take the time to write an evaluation, but I had to share how satisfied I was from the beginning with the planning of my daughter high time in the george washington hotel. the venue is incredibly beautiful and the service was excellent. thanks for making it a great day! shelly jacobs and callie O’Toole
The room was not very clean! there was no c. when I went to the recipe to know them. they told me when their windows open, they might try to cool the room. even when I booked the room, I was told a price on the phone. when I got my card statement, it was definitely a higher price. I'll call and the lady said it wasn't due. Thank you, we had a good time at the high time. I never visited someone to find a room like that. I never give a bad critique, but I had to write one about this place.
My man and I had our high time here in september 2021. the day was completely perfect! I was very excited to the high-time day. we wanted to find a historic location, and in the opposite I think this is a challenge to find, especially a historical location that is affordable and not in pittsburgh or a scheune. we chose a Sunday wedding because it was less expensive. there were so many things included in the basic high-time package that the high-time was much more expensive than it was! the place is beautiful and requires little to no decoration. we wanted a formal high time and the george washington was perfect for it. the ceremony is my favorite part of the venue and was very big. eating was top notch! absolutely amazing eating and large portions. the open bar was included and everyone thought the mixed drinks were also good. the dance floor was much large enough. erica has organized a great work and everything set up and made the day much less stressful. all our guests had a great time. many people told my family that it was the best time they ever had. they can get ready here, make photos, ceremony, recipe, and we had a great room to stay. bed was comfrotable, jacuzzi was beautiful, and our room was big. When we look back, we are so happy that we have our high time here!
The building is very beautiful from a historical view point but since it is historical it is very outdated in a lot of ways. The experience seems to vary depending on the general manager there at the time as there seems to be a high turnover of general managers. The rest of the staff was very personable and nice.

I cannot thank the george washington hotel team enough for an unforgettable and loving day. photos of: bridgeperspective
