I went to Vendetta for the Fall season of DC Bocce (indoor and I have to say that I love this place. The ambience is just right, the two courts play a bit differently, and the bartenders are great folks who really appreciate it when they see you having a great time. I've mostly gone during the week Monday through Wednesdays. It's definitely quiet, but I like that about it it's moderately well filled and quiet. I love... View all feedback.
This restaurant was incorrectly listed as an Italian restaurant on Open Table. It had one pasta dish that I can remember and it came out tasting somewhat cold/old, the meatballs tasted as like they were purchased in bulk, frozen. Overall, slightly disappointed. This restaurant is much more of a dive bar. Ordered a glass of wine which certainly tasted like it had been from a bottle open behind the bar for a few days. Would not come here for a nice or even quiet dinner as many other patrons were very loudly playing the bocce and connect four games.
My friend and I enjoyed our dinners. I think there is a disconnect between the online menu versus the actual menu, but I was able to enjoy the roasted chicken. Since the menu changes each season, we look forward to coming back to taste the other meal options.
Excellent service. All 6 members of our party ordered differently and were quite satisfied.
Nice Neighborhood bar to relax and have a drink. Spaghetti with meatballs are quite tasty. Opera on tap was a unique experience and the venue was very appropriate.
I went to Vendetta for the jazz brunch with the Captones, held on the first Sunday of every month. The brunch menu features lots of comfort food with some Italian flare, and the band did an excellent job with classics like Our Love Is Here to Stay and even La Vie en Rose. Thoroughly enjoyable!
