It was our first time in this part of town and we loved it. The restaurant has a fun ambiance. The food was delicious. You must try the Brussel sprouts. They are to die for. The stuffies (stuffed baked clams) were really delicious too. My husband had the fish sandwich and it was very tasty. I can 't wait to visit in the summer when their outdoor patio is open. I'm a big fan of saltline. I think it's a great setup. however, a few friends and I went for restaurant week. it was not a pleasant experience, as far as the selection of means of life. they were out of the lobster, the roared cadry and the chocolate. it was regrettable. the bright spot was our server. she has made an absolutely wonderful job. their attitude made the food situation bearable. What a fabulous place for brunch in Navy Yard! The food was great, but the service was top notch! We weren’t rushed, we were able to switch out items and overall I’ll be going back!
I'm a huge fan of Saltline and think it has a fantastic atmosphere. However, when my friends and I went for Restaurant Week, our experience wasn't very pleasant due to limited menu options. They were out of the lobster, the roasted duck, and the chocolate dessert, which was disappointing. On a positive note, our server was exceptional; she did an amazing job. Her friendly attitude made the food situation more bearable.
