What Ramy likes about Del Mar:
Best Spanish restaurant I've been to in DC. Each plate was so flavorful. The paella was extremely well done, I only wish it developed a crunchy socarrat at the bottom. The restaurant itself has a very grand feel, and the seating next to the window gives you beautiful views of the boardwalk and wharf.Really pricey restaurant, especially if you want to order a lot of tapas and try everything out, but it's well worth the... View all feedback. What Logan Graham doesn't like about Del Mar:
The food was just average, at least for the two dishes we tried. The prices are extremely high; you're really paying for the ambiance and location, making it feel like a tourist trap. I wouldn’t come back here again. We spent nearly $70 on paella and $30 for five tiny shrimp with croutons. A true Spaniard would likely be appalled by this subpar food. We’re here to enjoy a meal, not just look at it. View all feedback.

Superb presentations, thoughtful (read safety-conscious) service, reminiscent of Spanish or Italian al fresco, unhurried, delightful dining
