We are summer regulars at this place because their poutine is done right. Twice fried fries which stay crisp under a generous helping of gravy and the traditional cheese. Maybe not bikini-beach food, but poutine is not something you eat when you worry about your figure. The owners are always super-friendly. Poutine is priced at $7. View all feedback.
What Nathaniel Hermiston doesn't like about Belgium Fries Inc.:
Rainy day at the end of August we had a real craving for fries so decided to give Belgium Fries a try. I'm not sure what all of the people were eating when they gave this establishment a 5-star rating. The fries were a soggy greasy mess. We tossed them out and will not return View all feedback.

I was up in Wasaga with my family and I visited Belgium Fries with the best poutine and burgers or as they like to call it the burger burg in town . This place is family owned and they were very nice to me and my family. Great food!
If you find yourself in Wasaga, this restaurant is a must-try! While I don't usually leave reviews, I couldn't resist sharing my experience here. The fries are cut fresh every day, with a perfect crispy exterior and a tender middle. My fiancé raved about the five cheese poutine, with its distinct and rich cheese flavors. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
My husband and I have passed by this restaurant several times, as it is located at the end of the main street by the beach. We finally decided to try it this week. The owners are very friendly, and the lady was happy to explain the different methods they use, such as cutting fresh fries daily and importing cheese curds from Quebec. The fries here are twice-fried, giving them a golden and crispy texture with a touch of salt. In my opinion, these are the best fries in town. I ordered a small size with a mild sausage in a bun, and was pleasantly surprised that the small size was not overwhelming. I happily finished all the fries, despite being pregnant. My husband ordered the sausage poutine, and what stood out about it was that the gravy, sausage, and cheese curds were evenly distributed throughout the dish, rather than just piled on top like at most places. It was poutine all the way to the last fry at the bottom of the container.
