This is a beautifully designed buffet-style BBQ restaurant. It's exceptionally clean and offers a family-friendly atmosphere. The food was fresh and tasty, particularly the pulled pork BBQ, which was complemented by a flavorful mustard-based sauce (if I'm not mistaken). The staff was friendly and focused on providing great service. I could easily imagine this place buzzing with customers; they definitely serve excell... View all feedback.
What Christina Gillis doesn't like about Bobby's -b-q Buffet:
I have visited Bobby's numerous times over the 33 years I've lived in Aiken County. However, I hadn't been there in a few years due to previous concerns about the food quality. I decided to go back today around 2 PM, and I regret not choosing a different place. We paid extra for the ribs, but they, along with the BBQ chicken and macaroni and cheese, were all quite dry—so dry, in fact, that I mentioned it to the waitr... View all feedback.
Wonderful BBQ Buffet and wonderful service! I love eating at Bobby’s BBQ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Dry food, limited sides, and surrounded by gun nuts who smell like cigarettes and flop sweat. Do yourself a favor and make your own bbq at home. Sauce is mustard based and isnt terrible but the dru bland meat needs it sorely. Pricey too. Not going to return. The place looks like a hunting lodge but it is practically empty, and if you've ever eaten there, you'll taste why. Edit to reply to the owner: I see you are fond of religious dogma. Well you are going to need god to keep your restaurant going because the food sure as hell will not. Instead of posting snarky retorts in your reviews, learn from them and make improvements. You are a fool to ignore criticism, and a bigger fool to not pay attention to what people tell you. Your hee haw confederate decor is not welcoming or friendly for anyone who is not conservative caucasian, and that alone elimiates 4/5 of your potential customer base. You eliminated 80 percent of your potential income with your decor alone. You have a big empty place taking up valuable real estate, barely scraping by on sub par food quality and you want to play church instead of running a great restaurant. God be with you, because success will not be.
Place has so much more potential. The bbq is terribly dry. Like I don’t wanna soak it in bbq sauce just to make it manageable to get down. Spent 40 for 2 people. Everything else was ehhh. Def needs improvement.. but it being a bbq place with dry meat I mean come on Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
The owner is completely clueless about the restaurant industry and most likely life itself Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Nice BBQ Buffet with optional ribs for an additional price. There were lots of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh. Three sauce options are available, and they all seemed to be mustard based. Cute country atmosphere in a huge log building. Overall, a nice buffet meal. Parking: Huge parking lot with plenty of space Service: Dine in
