The restaurant was quite busy on Sunday morning, and we were informed that it might take around 45 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the wait was worth it! We go in here all the time, not to eat, but to drink. the bar staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. the real ales are changed regularly, my personal favorite is the ghost ship, but there is always a good, well maintained selection.
Always try to immerse yourself in a visit to the family. beautiful and comfortable inside and outside. perfect location for sunny days. they always have the Sharing plate, as it is a nice selection of food, too good.
I've never been disappointed by the food or the staff. It gets busy on sunny days but that's because it's a great venue. Keep up the good work
Come here for the first time today for lunch. The pub is very nice inside and has a lovely outdoor terrace which is great in the summer. We had a 3 course set lunch menu. The food was expectional. I opted for the pork belly which melted in my mouth. The presentation of the food was spot on and the overall service was brilliant. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Lovely decor and my meal (prawns and squid) was delicious but the baguette was a bit if a disappointment as the SFC was cold so the cheese wasn't melted, fries were lovely though. Our cups were also really filthy they were probably water marks from a dishwasher but it was very clear to see
