Kingsley's Chicken - WANNIASSA

Now living in QLD means I don't get access to Kingsley's Chicken. This is remedied when I visit Canberra periodically. A trip to Kingsley's is always on the agenda during a visit.Best Fried Chicken in Australia and the best chips probably in the world. Kingsley's is worth a visit. Locals know it and visitors are in for a treat.

Whole chickens only $7.99 on a Tuesday at Erindale store. Other days $8.99. Lot nicer than the supermarket ones

The chips here are great! Extremely unhealthy but they taste great!If you want to make it even better, dip those chips into the gravy. Holy Lord!!! So good. But don't do it too often - you will die.Chicken is ok, I eat the burgers with coleslaw occasionally, and the price is very reasonable especially if you choose from the Manager's specials menu

The chips and burgers and even the chicken is always fresh and hot. Never a bad experience from this store. Friendly and helpful staff.

Kingsley's is a classic Canberra take out, they are absolutely delicious and everything is just better with their gravy, even though you'd think it couldn't get any better. There's another in Erindale that's just the same. I will say that the chicken chippies are better then the nuggets. 10/10 can't be in Canberra and not have some Kingsley's Chicken and Chips! =)
