Moe Hime Maid Cafe - Wanhua District

Note: This review is written on 22/5/2023. As this was written while the cafe still has COVID measures in place and may not reflect current conditions. The maids were nice and the food pretty decent. Overall feeling of the cafe is the stereotypical maid cafe, modeled after the famous Japanese chain ones, with the expected decor and showyness. The place is rather claustrophobic tho due to multiple separation barriers in place as COVID safety measures, causing multiple seats to be arranged in awkward ways. It's also somewhat dimly lit. There is a very small corner stage, so I would assume there might be shows every now and then. It is rather busy so calling ahead to reserve a seat or table is advisable as otherwise you might be asked to wait. The crowd also means there will be lulls in between the maids conversing with you but they try their best. The menus does not have English but using smartphone translators can get around that. If you're looking for the stereotypical maid cafe experience, this place works just fine.

So weird and delightful. A must if you want to enter a fantasy land.

Simple place. Nice maid costume servicing crew. Good place for chatting!

It's not good as i was exprcted and you can't take pictures and should pay them to take a picture

Slightly expensive but the maids were very friendly. Mid afternoon is not so crowded. The drinks are mostly on the sweet side.
