Bought heaps of deli items ie cheeses, salamis olives etc to make up a casual smorgasbord. The prices were very reasonable and a good variety. The service and staff knowledge was good. Decided to have a raisin toast and coffee for brunch and enjoyed both....Will call in again next time I’m in Wangaratta. View all feedback.
What Dominique Schneider doesn't like about Aroma deli cafe:
My wife and I had planned to stop over for lunch after a two and half drive on our way through to Bright on Friday. We have a 4 year old little boy which makes timing our travels almost impossible to book ahead. My wife had facebooked the cafe which said it closed at two.It was quite busy but still had a variety of empty tables. We walked in to the cafe at 12:30 (my 4 year old half asleep on my shoulder) and was greeted... As a regular customer I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, efficient, friendly atmosphere and the great range of cheeses.
This cafe is tucked away behind Woolworths but is well worth looking out for. It always seems to be busy but the service is quick snd friendly. Tha food is tasty and well presented. On my last visit the salt and pepper squid was melt in your mouth.
Went there over Easter weekend when visiting my father in Wangaratta for the long weekend. Ordered an ice coffee and it was by far the best I've ever had in Wangaratta. We went to Aroma to get a few things for easter celebrations but ended up staying for lunch in the end. Ordered the gnocchi and it was fantastic, full of flavour. The service was, as always with this place amazing, it had been a good six months since I had been to Aroma as I live most of the week in Melbourne and I was not at all surprised to see that it was still as vibrant and charming as I remembered it. Our waitress, I think her name was Sara, was full of laughs and helped us pick out numerous cheeses, dips and breads for our easter celebrations. It was great to see staff that are excited to be at work and have fun with each other, she was interacting with two other women, didn't catch their names, one had glasses and one had black hair, we could have stayed all day and watched them they were hilarious! Please give them a big thank-you from us as they made our weekend!! Great place, would highly recommend.
I have been getting my coffee here for past 3 years. I have raved about it to all and sundry. Just now I went to get my regular coffee and did not have any cash on me. I had a card and asked if I could tap it. As the amount was under $10 they refused to do this. I go there at least 3 times per week, often more. I often have work colleagues from other offices who I take with me. I often buy more than just a coffee. Just goes to show it's all about the money - how much would it have cost them to let me use a card just this once? As it is it has cost them a regular customer and I hope many more when I tell my workmates about my treatment just now. What would the bank have charged for allowing a regular loyal customer to use a card on this one occasion? Lots of other great coffee options in Wangaratta fortunately and a longer walk to get it will do me good.
Went again for lunch and again had the Gnocchi. It was great. The coffee as usual was excellent and the service by the staff was friendly and attentive. Well done to Tony and his staff.
