What Laura Parker doesn't like about Starburger:
Okay, where should I start? yesterday I bought some fish there, it was good, I was curious to leave a star review for this place. today I came back to get half feathered and pommes, the menu that appears out clearly says: £3.00 without chips, £4.50 with chips. the owner asks me for £4.99 I don't make me out of £0.5 extra (occasionally), I was ready to order, but then he insults me in very unpleasant wise to say - you... I and my family know the owner mehmet for more than 30 years. we moved out of battersea, but go out of our way to break back and say hello. the same fantastic service and engagement for the best service for its customers was always its top priority.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for years, even before the pandemic, and typically stuck to ordering burgers. Today, we decided to revisit for lunch out of nostalgia, as it had been four years since our last visit. The owner, who also serves as the chef, cook, and bottle washer, has always managed the place single-handedly. During busy times, he can be seen running around frantically, somehow managing to keep the food coming out. The burgers and burger meals are consistently good, but if you're looking for a healthier option, the menu is limited. Unfortunately, many items listed on the menu were not available when we visited, including the liver and bacon dish and most of the jacket potato fillings. We settled for a jacket potato with tuna and Fish Chips, as recommended by the owner. However, when the food arrived, it did not meet our expectations. The lack of salad cream and tartar sauce, with only mayonnaise and lemon offered as alternatives, was disappointing. The Fish Chips turned out to be average frozen fish and chips, not freshly made as expected. It was clear that the owner's interest in the business had waned, with essential ingredients and menu items missing. This once-great restaurant franchise has lost its charm, and we regret not choosing a different dining option. We will not be returning in the future. It's best to leave some things in the past.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning. It feels like stepping back into the 80s with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again soon!
