These guys are the best. The customer service you receive here is second. The food is amazingly good. Beat, you move from the boring Australian Chinese menu and on the true Chinese menu. The amount of Chinese customers here is the testimony as authentic they are. Get the fried chicken with Chili and the Szechwan beef (I asked for additional Szechwan paprika - OMG fantastic) and also the vegetarian dumplings. There ar... View all feedback.
What Ward Auer doesn't like about Jufu Garden:
Tried this place thinking the reviews were quite positive but wouldn't bother going back. The pieces of chicken and pork were so small it seemed like there was more batter than meat. The food tasted okay, the restaurant was clean and it was nice being able to watch the food being prepared, although I like to see people wearing gloves when they are handling food that I'm going to eat. That's the worst I ever had. for the first time, I have salted the Chinese food. Yes, salt.
We had a late dinner at the end of the day tour to geelong. ordering steam-free, but tasted like just half cooked, can really not justify the price of $4 a bowl. the nozzles were in good portions and tasted ok. (Get up with those with 2 pfeffer if you can treat as I can)
We have dived here a few times, and tonight we decided to place a pickup on the phone in advance. I wouldn't do that again. they have abandoned the order and only discovered after their arrival in lara. the fish and vegetables ordered gave us mixed vegetables instead.
My first Chinese kitchen, in melbourne in the last 8 years. I am impressed by the taste the aromen were very good and the services were friendly
Jufu's a reliable joint. Opened up a few years back now, and it doesn't do anything particularly special other than sort of generalised take-out chinese but what it does do, it does well, and always fresh However, I discovered recently that they have an English menu, *and* a Chinese menu. I suspect there may be some absolute gems on the Chinese menu, but if (like me) you don't know any Chinese, it's a real lottery as to what you'll end up eating It's good though, especially if you're in Geelong and don't feel like cooking.
