The food here is tasty. If you're getting takeout though, just beware of the bags they use; they're super flimsy paper bags. I only had 2 meals in there and the second I took the bag out of my car the bottom collapsed and my meals opened up on the concrete, losing nearly half of my rice (luckily it's sticky rice, so some of it was still together).I would advise bringing your own backup bag maybe a reusable one to be... I would give a much higher rating if I was just reviewing the taste of the food, but someone with me said they saw a staff member pour a table’s unfinished water BACK into the pitcher to serve the next guests. Disgusting. View all feedback.

Service:Service was great. I was seated immediately and brought water and checked on frequently.Ramen:I ordered the miso ramen. It comes with chashu, braised egg, bamboo shoot, sauteed bean sprout, scallion, sweet corn, grated garlic and dried seaweed. The yellow ramen noodles were great, not too cooked, about al dente. The broth was savory, creamy, and smooth. The pork slices were thin and had a smoky flavor, although they were a bit dry and rough. The braised egg was sweet and savory, from soy sauce probably.Sushi:I also tried some of their sushi. The sake salmon sashimi was a bit flavorless and not the smoothest. The tamago cooked egg sushi was decent but the sushi rice was about very small, about 1 inch by half.Overall:The sushi might be decent compared to takeout sushi, but wasn't great for a restaurant based on what I tried. I would give this place another try.

Ramen had cold ingredients straight from the fridge. The soup base was lukewarm, and did not taste very good. Dumplings were, I am sorry to say, some of the worst dumplings I have had, my own included. The dumplings did not hold together. The vegetarian filling was uninspiring at best.I went there twice, just to make sure. It pains me to award 2 stars to Hakata Ramen. These are nice people who should not be in the food business.Vegetarian options: some dishes are vegetarians such as dumplings and ramen
Great food, lots of space, and friendly service. Definitely going again.Food: 5/5
