I’ll start with the food was amazing! We started with the hummus, it was beautifully plated and tasted fresh. I got the 18oz strip with broccolini. Incredible dining experience! Food Service were amazing! First the smell! That red oak lofting into the restaurant is intoxicating. Also, loved how they describe the dishes as they present them. Even the super friendly manager and chef checked on us. I brought my wife and 2 young sons and most nice restaurants are not pumped to see kids (understandably) but they were above friendly about it. We were visiting family and they suggested this restaurant. I was very excited after seeing their menu online, but was a bit weary due to the reviews of poor service. The Appalachian is truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was phenomenally cooked and presented.
