The Food is superbly exquisite as is the motel lobby. It has been retained in most it's glory of the original wood working which was built in the 1920's. The craftsman ship, the huge open lobby is like a trip to the past of high class elegance. I am in love with this place. The service is as professional and charming as the building its self. Thank you to the owner who decided to keep history intact with a slight mod... View all feedback.
What noel monin doesn't like about The Marc:
Service was exceptional. Menu was on par. Meal was cooked perfectly. But, all the food was overly seasoned. Way too salty…saltier than anything we’ve ever had. We are surprised this has not been mentioned. View all feedback.
The restaurant area is absolutely stunning! The server we had was really sweet extremely attentive to all our needs. She had answers to all our foodie questions made sure we enjoyed our food! The fries were some of the best fries i’ve had their focaccia was absolutely incredible! The dessert was freshly baked beautifully plated! Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful delicious date night!
It was a busy night and our waitress was obviously working solo. But we were patient and all of our courses were very well made with excellent ingredients, from the delicious scampi and onion roll, to the burrata tomato salad. My pasta with pinnoli, fresh corn and exceptional mushrooms was very tasty and my husband's pork chop was cooked to perfection!
What a disappointment. This used to be good before being recently sold to a corporate hospitality group. First let’s say menu options were significantly reduced from a year ago. Wife and I ordered ribeyes with a substitute side of crusted potato cake. It also came with a zucchini “cake.” The zucchini was horrible and the potato cake was ok. The ribeyes were less than a third of an inch thick. Kinda like Walmart thin cuts or less. I ordered mine med well and received rare. Unbelievable. The meal was an extreme disappointment. We had wedge salads as well. They came with about half a head of lettuce apiece. Two wedges each, which was kinda overkill. They were ok, not great, just ok. No bread, but we each had bread plates. One cocktail apiece and bill was $155. So two salads with a few bacon crumbles, a couple of croutons, some blue cheese dressing, two extremely thin ribeye steaks (cooked improperly) with a potato cake and zucchini cake and two well drinks for $155. The server was nice and good and told us they were going to remodel the Mark restaurant and destroy the old Timey look like they had done in the lobby. The hotel is ruined. Another one bites the dust.
Food was average. Service was horrible slow to seat us, slow to take payment, slow to refill coffee.
