What Rob Smedz doesn't like about Kountry Kupboard:
We were visiting from out of town and had high hopes for a cozy diner with homemade food. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. The staff was friendly and the coffee was decent, but the food fell short. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans tasted canned, the mashed potatoes were among the worst I've ever had, and the country fried steak reminded me of something... View all feedback.
The food is good but nothing special. The restaurant is clean and waitresses are friendly. Prices are fair.
Please go and support great food. Great food and customer service . The owner comes to every table to make sure your food is good.
Small diner. Reminded me of my first job I had at 16. It took a good 5-10 minutes to get helped. There appeared to be one waitress. Mainly looks to be a meat 2-3 sides. Dessert is offered. I came through stopped by to get veg soup cornbread as it was a rainy day. I’d never been here so thought I’d try it. It was ok. The beans tasted like out of a can didn’t taste seasoned. Mac cheese was good. Fried squash was really good. I wasn’t thrilled over the tea but could be me because I cut back sugar. I ended up pouring most of it out getting ice water later. The pulled pork wasn’t bad but I’d have preferred more meat over sauce. Not saying I will not go here again but I spent almost $20 just for lunch so I’m back to taking sandwiches daily for lunch. $20 was just way too much to spend on lunch for one day.
