Appetizers, including beet and artichoke dishes, are also highlights. The atmosphere is generally warm and inviting, although service can be inconsistent; some guests report slow service and inattentive staff. While many appreciate the kindness of the servers, there are instances of disappointing experiences, particularly during busy hours. Despite these service hiccups, many patrons express a strong desire to return, drawn by the excellent food, reasonable prices, and overall positive vibe of the establishment.
This review is for Open Table instead of Sorrento House Restaurant. I have at the establishment by Open Table information from Diner reviews on Open Table for 5:30 am on Sat. 18. March reserved for 4 of us. It was my and my sister's husband's birthdays. Get an email from Open Table that confirmed the reservations. 2 days later I received another email for me to confirm my reservation what I did. It's a 45-minute drive for my wife and I a way and the same for my sister and her husband. (We both met halfway). Upon arrival at the address specified by the website, we discovered that the facility no longer existed. The phone number had been separated. My wife did some investigations on her phone and found that it was closed since 2019!!! Thanks Open Table for your dissatisfied record keeping.
Friday night. The restaurant was dead. That should have been the first red flag. The appetizer was bruschetta and either that or the Margarita Pizza brought my husband and I for the next 48 hours for me and 84 hours for my husband He continued to eat the radio and I decided to leave the Hungry restaurant. We will never return to place again if we both suffer from poisoning, it is just our basic requirements when eating!
They were short so slow, but super attentive and apologetic and everything in every pleasant experience. Variety on the menu and food was good!
Our server ignored us most of the time. I never asked if we wanted anything else. It was my son's birthday and we wanted to get Dessert. She brought the bill after a long wait. We went to the street for ice. The pizza was excellent.
It was a Thursday and service was very slow. Many tables that arrived after us received their food before we did. They only had one waitress working that night and it was pretty busy for a Thursday. We had been here on a Friday for Fish and that was excellent and service was much better. The food (pizza and angel pasta) was ok. Not hot just moderate temperature. We might go there again for a 3rd time and see how it goes.
