Ko Rocks. We had an excellent lunch and dinner at Ko while staying at the Fairmont. Lovely atmosphere and great service Curt and Colleen were both sweet as can be. We enjoyed a very fresh fish wrap and noodle dish for lunch and had a heavy appetizer dinner and dessert. I highly recommend the Ahi on the Rock and the Oishi Sushi both are delicious and cooking your ahi on a hot rock is a lot of fun (I want to order one... View all feedback.
Ko is one of the two fine-dining restaurants in the Fairmont Kea Lani hotel in Wailea. It’s at 4100 Wailea Alanui Drive, phone 808-875-2210. The decor at Ko is casual, with wicker chairs and no tablecloths on the tables. But the food and service are elegant, with prices to match. Each food item is beautifully presented and there is a wide variety of Pacific Rim style foods on the menu. Dinner begins with one of the best assortment of breads of any Maui restaurant. Then there are twelve appetizers and four soups to choose from. The entrees include five fish preparations, as well as other seafoods, plus pork, chicken, lamb, steaks, and vegetarian options. It’s all topped off with twelve possibilities for dessert.
Went here for the brekfast buffet while staying at the hotel. Food was good and service and attentive. Omelet station, lots of pastries, meat and fruit. At 34$ a person it was slightly overpriced in comparison to other fairmont breakfast buffets but was still good.
Best meal we had in Wailea. Service was bad, but the food made up for that!
Does not disappoint.... Ko is great, expected no less at the Fairmont. Bigger than expected portions so felt we got our money's worth. An appetizer, two entrees, two cocktails and the $35 sake $200. We regretted the appetizer once we saw how big dinner was. Also, check what the specialty cocktail is and it's cost...our bad that she offered them and we said yes...they weren't very good and were $15 each. There were better drinks on the menu. Doh! Either go hungry, share plates or plan to leave some behind. Yum, and especially nice if you're staying there.

I highly recommend the Ahi on the Rock and the Oishi Sushi both are delicious and cooking your ahi on a hot rock is a lot of fun (I want to order one for home). The mochi trio and banana lumpia desserts were yummy. All in all, we enjoyed our meals and would go back in a heartbeat!
