Contribute FeedbackDespite some mixed reviews, the restaurant seems to have a loyal following among some patrons. The atmosphere and ambiance of the outdoor dining area along the river were highlighted as a positive aspect of the dining experience. While some dishes received rave reviews, others fell short of expectations. Slow service and understaffing were common complaints, but exceptional service was also mentioned. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs, with some diners eager to return for the great setting and attentive staff, while others may be deterred by inconsistent food quality and service issues.

Slow service and no checking back. They do not serve ginger unless requested. However, didn’t know that until after food delivered and no getting servers attention .
There are a few places we come back to when in Waikalaoa and Sansei is one of them. If you come for their happy hour the sushi is quite reasonable and even regular prices are what you would expect in a resort environment.
I eat there all the time! I am one of those people who orders the same few dishes every time. This is my kind of restaurant. The food is consistent and always the same. Cannot ask for more. Actually I appreciate the restaurant using Open table since this venue is only open for dinner so one has to remember to call for a reservation when they are open. Now, we have opentable.
Try the shrimp dynamite. Yummy. Go at 5PM for the discount.
