This was my way to stop every day when I came out to visit family in Wai’anae. The staff was always friendly and had a smile every time we went through the door. Disapointed in the fact that we arrived 5 mins late, an they closed, they just finished up serving 3 others.Very disapointing that they would serve us. We stayed in Waianae (Mahaka Valley) during our recent trip and came to this place several times. They gave us good ‘local’ tips for lounging, music and food, and great beach spots for my little one. Got some super good shave ice here and with all the classic flavors plus some rare ones kalo, horchata, tamarind, and matcha! All of those we tried and they were delicious. They've got the good kind fresh mochi too, not the pastel ones covered in rice flour. Ladies were nice enough to serve us right before closing mahalo!! Service: Take out Meal type: Other
Ended up here because it was recommended by word of mouth, and then told three people that we met that they HAD to come here! We only made it back twice, but I wish we 'd gotten more. Literal melt in your mouth shaved ice, none of that reproduction-snow-cone nonsense... DELICIOUS, and great people, quick service. Great place for a shave ice, ice cream, and odds 'n ' ends. sopped by everyday evening for a week. Gets really crowded when school lets out.
