I have visited this traditional Chinese restaurant on two occasions, and every dish we tried was delicious. However, the restaurant itself is quite basic so don't expect anything fancy. The staff are friendly, attentive, and polite. With some improvements, the atmosphere could be much better, starting with the old and poorly lit on-street signage which makes it hard to locate for first-time visitors. The entrance is... The restaurant is closed without any information about a new location. The sign above the sidewalk is still hanging, but other signs near the entrance have been painted over. View all feedback.

Wouldn't say it's easy to find - down a lane way behind a fairly plain doorway. Then go downstairs into what we presumed was an old cellar. Not wheelchair accessible. Typical Chinese restaurant type menu. It was very quiet on the Friday night we were there, only 3 other tables, maybe we were too early. Service was a little off-hand, like the waitress was bored, but the food came quickly, was an OK size for the price and was tasty. $60 for our entree, 2 mains and drinks was OK.
Absolutely woeful! Worst Chinese we have ever had in our lives. Honey King Prawns were covered in a pluto-pup like batter and there was no prawn mixture on the prawn toast. Lucky to be 8 small pieces of meat in the garlic combination. Very disappointing. Definitely would NOT recommend.
Ok Chinese food. The place was empty on a Monday night except for us! The omelette was slightly over cooked. My chicken and cashew dish was a generous size and quite ok.Just a note to others trying to find it for the first time....down the lane and look for the door on your left. We honestly nearly walked away as we thought it was closed!!
I had a bad experience a couple of years ago with Chinese food. I haven't been in a chinese restaurant for 4 years. On a recent trip to Wagga my husband really wanted to have Chinese food, with reluctance I agreed.Thank you Lum Inn you have restored my faith in Chinese food.We had the spring rolls, combination satay, salt and chilli squid and fried rice. We both enjoyed the food. It tasted fresh and it was plentiful. We were full. The service was good and not over the top.The restaurant was clean and warm.
