There are many Mexican restaurants on South Sante Fe in Vista but this one is by far my favorite. Corn quesadillas, corn gorditas, chicken tacos... everything is good here. I've been going here for 15+ years and have never been disappointed. The rice AND the beans are great. Always friendly staff too. View all feedback.

It was OK. I don't know that I would go out of my way to drive there for anything. We ordered rolled tacos... they had zero taste, had the torta and the carnitas were dry, bread was good but hardly any mayo so the whole thing was pretty dry, also ordered the gordita plate and the rice and beans were OK nothing special and the the Carne asada gordita was the same dry not much flavor it's good that we got salsa to put... I ordered a mais de adovada quesadilla and they gave me burnt meat! They changed it for another fat yena!
Gorditas rancias, tasted old n spoiled, ended with the bad taste of spoiled masa I complained but I was too hungry and my short lunch time, I though it was my imagination such a weird flavor in my tongue.. I 'm not planning to return. Rude person in charge today
The tables and seats are a little worn, but it's a great taco shop. Try the gorditas!!
The food was okay and the service was better. The food was priced right, but the drinks were over price.
Gorditas at its best! The food was very good. I recommend this place. I'm glad we tried them.
