A hidden gem! My mom and I dined here and tried a few rolls. The fish was excellent and incredibly fresh. The Cajun roll and the baked rolls were particularly delicious! If you're in the area, definitely stop by for some sushi. View all feedback.

Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately, it was a great disappointment. Upon arriving at 7pm it was a good sign that the small place was packed. Miso soup was hot but average and the salmon cocktail had a spicy house sauce that was terrible and the pieces were inconsistent in size and for salmon, a rather tough texture. The rolls arrived before the sashimi, which was rather surprising and the fish to rice rat... View all feedback.
Stepping into this sushi haven, you're immediately enveloped in its warm, cozy ambiance. Every bite speaks of quality. But the true heart of this place is the lovely lady who’s wearing the kindest smile, she has a unique way of making every guest feel special!! And on a memorable morning, being their first customer just 5 minutes post opening, that welcoming smile felt like it was reserved just for me! A must-visit for anyone seeking both delightful sushi and heartwarming hospitality!
10/10 best sushi I’ve ever had. GREAT service. Sushi is so fresh. Will never go anywhere else Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is BY FAR the best Japanese restaurant in Hampton Roads. I have been coming here for 9 years, and I've never even had a mediocre meal, nevermind a bad meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
OMG! We were just visiting the town and asked a local friend for a recommendation and let’s just say this place didn’t disappoint! By the time we came in for dinner, both me and my husband were starving hungry and didn’t feel like deciding what we want to order. So we went with Chef Omakase option each plus a California roll for our toddler. Even the California roll was nicer than typical sushi restaurant, but every single course of our meals was out of this world incredible! There were takoyaki and wasabi dumplings, eggplant salad, generous serving of sashimi with various toppings and sauces, 3 4 different rolls all quite well seasoned and well composed and I loved the choice of the ingredients! We even got crème brûlée for desert. All in all, I was extremely pleased with everything. I’d say if you’re very hungry like we were definitely get chef omakase for each person, but if you don’t have wolf appetite then it would feed a couple well (keep in mind each only comes with 1 soup and 1 salad so if planning to share may want to order these extra) Service was so warm and welcoming too! I didn’t have to even think if I needed anything like refills or sauces, it just appeared and any time we had questions they were happy to describe dishes served and help out. 10/10 would totally return if in the area
