The service was fantastic! The food was incredibly tasty! I ordered the sweet potato pecan pancakes, and while they were delicious, I was a bit let down by the minimal amount of pecans in them. Adding chopped pecans on top or mixing in more with the batter would have truly elevated the dish! I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely plan to return! View all feedback.

Doc Taylor's is quite a nice place. It has a strong family-friendly atmosphere. Aesthetically, it’s a beautifully renovated house converted into a restaurant, offering plenty of seating both indoors and on the patio. Found this place with Google. Little apprehensive because parking around oceanfront is limited. They do have parking in the back so it is a plus. Top notched and affable service, great food and super fast! Price is reasonable and will definitely come back.
Doc Taylor's was a first for me and I'd recommend to someone who's never been before easily. Finding it can be a little tricky (park in the back or on the street, walk to the front door where you see the ramp). It definitely gives chill beach vibes. Braden was our server and he was super sweet. Our food came out fast as hell too. Like. We ordered and there it was. Not sure if it was because it was 10 A.M. but I wasn't mad. The mimosas are delicious too. I ordered The Stroke and Doctor Tuttle's French toast and did a happy dance all the way through. Try it out if you've never been. And sit in the sun room if you can. It's nice
I love this diner, feels like home. Tasty food and great service! Go earlier, because it gets busy by 9 am.
From the moment we walked in it was great, servers were nice, the atmosphere is inviting! Our server was amazing I believe her name was Nicole.The food was AMAZING and the drinks...DELICIOUS!!! Definitely going back again!!
We love Doc Taylor's. It's a very chill vibe with inexpensive food. It's easy to miss because the front looks a little wonky but I like them better than most popular breakfast joints at Virginia Beach. The service is fast so you're also in and out quick so you can carry on with the rest of your day.
