I've been wanting to try BB ever since it opened but due to their hours I haven't been able to they're closed on Mondays (my day off lol) but I was finally able to venture over the other day. It was so great!! I'm from New York and I can appreciate a fantastic bagel, other bagel shops in town just don't compare to BB! What W P doesn't like about Brooklyn Bagel:
The food was disappointingly mediocre at best. Having grown up in Brooklyn, I can confidently say these bagels don't measure up. The customer service was terrible; the staff seemed completely indifferent to my presence. It felt like they had the attitude of "take what we offer and leave." To top it off, I could definitely smell marijuana coming from the back area. This will be my first and last visit to this place. View all feedback.
We often do not love their sandwiches, that they somehow mess our order and I am completely open to it. this morning we ordered 3 sandwiches and one that had two eggs in the name of the sandwiches, missing the eggs. How do they miss the main part of the sandwiches?! we did not notice for about 30 minutes after our order, so we do not drive all the way back. a disdain.
This place is “slap yo mama” good! I'm gonna be back for dinner and trust me first time. I had the williamsburg bagel and I was amazing. my hubby had the pobo bagel. he loved it! the personal was super nice and super! this place is highly recommended for me. if they love their pizza, they will love this place!

First I'm original from outisde of NYC. I grew up within the Italian and Jewish community. My love for bagels is true. I have them sent to me from an online Queens NY BAGEL place or my sister who works in Manhattan goes to a famous place there and sends them to me that day. I chatted with someone this week who recommended this place once they found out I was from NY. I live in Great Bridge Chesapeake so going to this place was like crossing the state. I picked up a dozen bagels and got a sample of the pastrami. The bagels by far are the best in this area and the pastrami was slap your mama excellent. I would have went back in and got a pound of pastrami but the line got long that quick and I work in Norfolk so I really went out of my way to try these bagels and this place. Highly recommend it. I Brooklyn Bagels!
