Methira Thai Restaurant - Vine Creek

On Tuesday evening, my family and I went to dinner at this restaurant. We absolutely loved the money bags and curry puffs, which were crispy and delicious. The stir-fried beef with ginger was also very tasty, and the coconut rice was outstanding. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

During our stay in Mackay we tried a couple of Methira's vegetarian dishes and actually liked all of them. Service was always friendly and preparation of takeaway meals was fast. All in all, a good choice.

We love this restaurant. The food is always lovely and the service is very friendly. We eat here regularly.

Worst take away Thai in Mackay ordered a beef cashew stir fry that had about 4 slices of beef and chicken pad Thai that had even less chicken it was pathetic and the flavors were absolutely plain to say the least very disappointing would not recommend this place to anyone

We began our meal with the satay chicken skewers, curry puffs, and spring rolls. The satays were excellent and stood out as the highlight of the meal. The other appetizers were average. For our main courses, we ordered two stir-fries, both chicken. One was made with oyster sauce and the other with garlic, pepper, and extra chili as requested. The dishes were fresh, crunchy, and the chicken was cooked well. However, the overall flavors were a bit bland and lacking the expected zing of Thai cuisine. The service was very good, with friendly and helpful staff.
