LOVED the thick red curry dish. That was amazing. The Tom Kha Gha soup was very tasty, but some of the vegetables were way too fibrous which made it a little annoying to eat. I think if the scallions were fresh/green it would've made a big difference texture-wise.Still, the flavor was incredible in both dishes. I would recommend this place again.Note: The ambiance is that of a takeaway restaurant, but has a few 2- an... View all feedback.
What Richard Carrino doesn't like about Jay's Thai Kitchen:
Friendly service but the food was disappointing. The dishes were bland in appearance and taste. No vegetables like in traditional Thai dishes. It wasn’t properly seasoned/spiced. For the price we paid there are other Thai restaurants in the area that deliver much better food. View all feedback.

Based off food and service this place is bomb! Delicious! Everyone liked what they ordered! And the curry puffs, (tho expensive and small) were soooo good. Based off atmosphere it's meh ? bc it's kinda small and that's normally a vibe depending on the mood but you can basically like see into the back by kitchen and I didn't like that?
We were passing though Suffern and stopped here for unch. The restaurant is adorable. Tiny and cute. Super friendly staff. But neither my wife or I was impressed by the food. The summer rolls looked like a mess, frankly, and could use more flavor. Likewise with the Tom Kha Gai soup: it was clearly very fresh but just did not have as much flavor as I had expected,. And the Yum Woon Sen salad also looked a little sloppy in its arrangement and was not anything special. Very sad, since we really were taken in by the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. That said, I read other's reviews that praise the food so perhaps we were unlucky this day.
Food is always good, but the prices keep going up and the servings keep getting smaller. $8 for chicken satay that's 4 sticks, each about 1 bite? That's pushing the limits of what's acceptable.
Amazing red curry with chicken. Chicken was very soft and juicy. Drunken noodles were great as well. Perfectly moist.
