Yesterday we decided to order a large emi 40 wings and an antipasto. It was over $90. The wings were awfully slim, they should be mild, but tasty like grill. I even tried to put them under the broilers because it didn't help. It doesn't matter to spend money if it is possible!! Ends to throw up / what a disappointment!! The pizza barely had a peat. What MRS doesn't like about Sorrento Pizzeria:
I ordered baked ziti for take out and it sucked. Ziti pasta with a little sauce and melted mozzarella. YOU ARE NOT ITALIAN AND SHOULDN'T OWN AND SERVE FAKE FOOD. Go somewhere and learn to cook Italian. Baked ziti is supposed to be mixed with ricotta and Italian spices mixed with sauce and pasta covered with mozzarella and baked. I always get Chicken Riggies when I'm at Sorrento for dinner. This time I tried the Buffalo Chicken Riggies and man oh man they are amazing. I've been here since I was a child, and the Magro family has kept the same sauce and recipes throughout the years. They take care of the children coming for a disc and coke, even after all these years. The pizza is incomparable to any other place and is a must try. They are not ordered.
Had the shaved ribeye sandwich for lunch. I highly recommend it.
Extremely consistent amazing! We ate in the restaurant a few times, and the staff and food is just top notch. Coming from NYC, the Bronx, the pizzas are a taste of home. Delicious crusts, large cheese and a delicious sauce. Would recommend everyone in the area, but even from the area as I live in Utica and make the trek.
Delicious! The meatball parmesan sandwich, antipasto so good! And excellent service.
This restaurant is a locals favorite, and even when it’s large enough, there could be a wait. Warmly decorated and clean. Our server was very sweet and efficient. They have an extensive menu. The Utica greens are a great starter, or a good side dish, and they are a favorite dish for the patrons. The eggplant Rollatini is very differenly prepared, as it is not breaded. The marinara sauce that comes over it is light, chunky and tasty.
