This is a wonderful little restaurant, the owner is always so nice and friendly it makes me want to keep going back the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. They are always hard at work and super busy if you order here have some patience there's only two workers and they can only work so fast! Thank you for your amazing service! View all feedback.
What Yvonne Wang doesn't like about Friends And Pho:
It’s pho modified for people who don’t know pho painfully minimalistic without basil, bean sprouts etc etc etc. it literally just had broth, very few pieces of meat and scallions apparently vegetables are hard to source but even spinach or broccoli would help. It took 1/2 hr to get the order which is a long wait not experienced at any other place. Also out of 3 items asked, 2 items were not available. Server is incre... View all feedback.
If anyone gives this place 2 or more stars, has never eaten a bowl of pho or have lived under a rock all their lives! We ordered pho and bun bo hue and the only difference was a little red coloring in the bun bo hue’s bowl. The bowls came out with nothing but noodles, broth, 3 half cut beef meatballs, and two pieces of mystery meat! No ciltrano, no green onions, no basil, no bean sprouts, NOTHING! A wasted of time and money!
This place was underwhelming. I ordered the pho (beef noodle soup), and it came with just noodles, a few slices of beef and maybe 2 meatballs, broth and a slice of lime. It doesn’t come with basil leaves or bean sprouts! How do you call that authentic?! The noodles tasted like it came from a packet and was a bit hard. Broth was meh. Also got the Vietnamese coffee, and it came in a plastic takeout container with a lid and straw. What kind of ghetto presentation is that? Put it in a cup, especially since I’m dining in. SMH. Too much condensed milk — made me want to go #3.Do not recommend this place whatsoever.
The pho is inauthentic. The noodles have the texture of prepackaged noodles, they are not fresh, and the broth tastes similar to what you would find in instant noodle/ramen from the store. In addition, when stirring the beef pho, a significant amount of starch from the noodles began to make the broth cloudy. On busy nights, there is also an extended wait time (I had to wait around 55 minutes). Unfortunately, will not be back.
This place is fantastic. Not only was the person taking my order friendly, but he helped me pick out what to eat. As a person who has only ever had instant pho from a convenience store this place has blown me away. The pho is hands down delicious and I will definitely come back again.
The pho here is just okay... I think the taste is an Americanized version of pho which is good in itself.
