The bussers and server were extremely polite and provided quick service. However, the prices were a bit high and the dishes did not come with rice or naan, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the food was delicious and the portion size was generous enough for two people. The curry dish I had was excellent. Adding rice or bread to the meals would greatly improve the dining experience, especially considering... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shahi Nihari And Chopsticks:
We enjoyed the Pakistani food at this restaurant. We opted for the buffet and think they could improve their accompaniments like ginger, green chilies, and cilantro for dishes like nihari. The seating area was roomy and there were no issues with parking, which was a plus. My wife also enjoyed the paan offered here. View all feedback.
Many options and various menus. beautiful location and faster service. prices? you can watch the menu and see yourself. eating was good and the huh was served in a Karahi-wow! service was also fast.
I give it two stars for the following reasons: We were a party of 8 people to dinner last evening so 18% gratuity was automatically added. Therefore, the service was extremely poor as the staff knew that 18% tips were guaranteed. The table was not cleared after dinner after multiple requests. When asked for the bill, the waiter walked up to the desk and announced the total charges. Didn't offer a printed bill until i asked for it. This was extremely embarrassing as I was entertaining guests from out of town. The prices are that of a 1/2 Resturant but the service is that of a cheap fast food carry out.
We ordered chicken sweet and sour, it was too oily and taste wasn't that good. We also ordered nihari and it had NO taste. Shahi Nihari is not the same anymore, service was just okay, we had to ask them to get us atleast lemon with nihari. And we never had such an oily Chinese food before.A big NO for me. Never coming back here.
Food sucked. Nihari was super oily and beef pieces were mostly fat. Butter chicken portion was extremely small. They had no chiken biryani and the frontier chicken was so damn spicy, i started sweating. This place is overrated and very expensive. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 10 mins and go to tandoori on roosevelt. 100 times better and the food is fairly priced.
Hubby and I saw this place and wanted to try a new spot for Chinese cuisine. We choose 3 items to enjoy at home and so we called it in while sitting in the parking lot. My husband admired the attire of the staff inside and paid the 57 for our 'fine dining ' experience. Needless to say we were sorely disappointed. The rice was barely warm, the shrimp were inedibly overcooked and the kung pao chicken while tasty was drenched in gravy. I was gob smacked at how little we received for this price. Definitely not a good value for the and we won 't return
